The Injury

Auricular hematoma forms after ear trauma, most frequently occurring in combat sports, when blood collects beneath the skin and over the cartilage of the ear.

The First Step

Treatment involves drainage of the fluid and blood.

Traditionally the next step involved stitches and a compressive bolster.

A Recent Improvement — Still Falls Short

Newer treatments involve compression with flat magnetic discs after drainage, but these discs don't contour to the curves of the ear.

Our Solution

We've created a heat moldable plastic magnetically attached compression system that can recontour the natural curvatures of the ear to non-invasively return the ear to its pre-injury form.

Custom moldable magnetic ear plugs offer water and sound protection with less risk of becoming dislodged from activities such as swimming, playing in the waves, surfing or in various other outdoor work and recreational environments.

Advantage Over the Competition

Magnetic attachment prevents dislodgement — no other ear plug product on the market has this feature. In addition our product is custom moldable at home but unlike moldable silicone ear plugs it is reusable and unlike the only other plastic moldable product on the market (Decibullz) ours offers both sound and water protection in addition to its magnetic attachment.
